Brutal PP. Hopefully the Flames can get it sorted out before the playoffs start.

Agreed, and when the Flames skate, LA has a hard time keeping pace - it becomes a differentiator.

I've always disagreed with this notion. If this is the case, then all star players get a free pass to not fight, regardless if they're being a little you know what and not willing to answer the call. Iginla is a perfect example of why you can be a superstar and still answer the bell when called.

I'd they don't win home ice advantage, expect game 1 to be extremely physical regardless of who we play. Flames need to match that intensity. Playoff games are often disjointed and a game of capitalizing on mistakes.

It's 1-1 Chiasson, might have been a better idea just to take the shot.

Agreed, Chiasson should have shot that.. .with so much traffic in front, you could get a good bounce... like the STL game

yeah, that would have been a better idea. at least he was in that position.

i think they're distracted by the tkachuk business. gotta settle down and play with more intensity

There is zero doubt in my mind that young Matthew was wondering what this game might bring/be like, and he talked with Walt and asked for advice.

I guarantee he is doing exactly what he was told.

It's working.

Sure, but playoff games are also MUCH faster than how period 1 was played. It was just a sloppy period. They have been a bit better in the 2nd.
