Definitely some push back from the Islanders in that period, but the Flames defensive coverage has been excellent and they're still not giving them much in terms of high quality scoring chances, other than on that PP at the end. Just gotta put in a solid 20 minutes here to close it out. Don't let the Isles get any momentum.

Time to bring home the victory, boys. Flames are 25-0-1 (0.962) when leading after 2 periods. Only PIT is better at 27-1-0 (0.964).

Francis, Chaisson isn't a third liner. He doesn't play with Bennett.

You mean flames .981 and Pens .964.
So flames are tops in the NHL.

IMO, the Flames' record is better... they have gotten 51 of a possible 52 points (.981) and the penguins have gotten 54 of 56 (.964)

I pull the numbers from NHL.com, which is win percentage and not points per percentage.
But you are correct, Flames are tops if you tabulate by points. Flames: 51 of a possible 52 points (0.981), PIT is 54 of a possible 56 (0.964).

Engelland might be the last NHLer I'd want to run into in a dark alley.
