Gibby should be happy everyone loves him for his "everyman" one liners, because it's pretty much all he's got

That strike by Goins to nail Pedroia at the plate was awesome!

Great pitching performance today.

Tulo needs to get it going at the plate though.

Awesome. Estrada did exactly what was needed and Storen and Osuna were great. Donaldson with 4 HR already.

Tulo hasn't really gotten it together with the Jays. Showed flashes in the playoffs but overall a disappointing bat.

Okay I'm in a restaurant and I don't have sound...why is Estrada wrapped up like a mummy?

Nice start for Estrada. He proves that pinpoint location and good pitch selection combined with a really good change up can allow a guy with a 90 mph heater to pitch at this level.

So nice to have Estrada pitch a gem like that. Team needed it IMO.

It was just ice on his shoulder, but held on with tensor bandages.. nothing major.

You're telling me I have to endure 31 more starts from R.A. Dickey this season? What a joke his tenure as a Blue Jay has become.
Dickey is a notoriously bad starter in the early months of the season. He will be more reliable in the summer.

Guess it could be worse. 3-4 to start the season, but probably should be 6-1. Pitching/bullpen turns around, this team is unstoppable. Seems like a pretty easy fix if this BS continues.

I am likening this team to the Ducks this year. They had a bad start (much worse than what the Jays are experiencing right now), but are looking strong heading into the playoffs. It's the sort of thing where the line-up is too good to always be blowing leads late and not being able to score in the second half of the game. Things will turn around.

Sanchez not getting the calls early, but throwing some nice pitches.

First dismal crowd of the year at Rogers Centre. Didn't think we'd see anything this small at all this year, let alone against the Yankees. The next two games look like they'll be similar. Sheesh.
