Sequence before the Flames penalty. First Backlund with another terrible giveaway in his own zone last night. Then when the Flames go down the ice, Ferland is too slow on doing anything with the puck, gets easily tapped away, and traps his guys in the zone and its an odd man rush the other way.
Just not smart plays, and a big reason why the Flames have very little effectiveness past the top line.

I've heard comparisons to other players regarding Sam Bennett, but it just occurred to me who he reminds me of most, Gary Roberts.
