Yep. Totally. One period into the season is enough to justify that.

2-0 Canucks after 20.
A good start then they seemed to slow down after the Bollig fight. That long boring fight seemed to put everyone to sleep on the bench.
Lots of time, they need to start skating again. Playing a choppy slow game plays right into the Canucks hands.

Well that was frustrating. I'm not too worried right now. First period of first game. They look out of sync and not fully engaged. Here's hoping they pull their collective heads out of their collective arses.

Pretty good point about the glove dropping.

That was pathetic. Credit to the Canucks, they outfought us, looked slick upfront and solid at the back. Us on the other, utter garbage. Players looking like they never skated together, Ramo cheating on the first and giving a juicy rebound on the 2nd. Need to get out s*** together and fast!

It's a bad goal but it happens. The first one was a great shot but top goaltenders make that save as well. The whole team kind of stunk it up in the first period so the 0-2 deficit isn't all on Ramo.

Give me a break Pang....Hansen had his head down, wound up and fired. The fact that Ramo dropped his glove while the puck was in there air is hardly Hansen listening to any sort of "scouting" of Ramo doing that.

Pretty blargh period, and could have been worse on the scoreboard.
Need to generate some consistent offensive pressure and stop those odd-man rushes.

Ramo gets the softest puck ever towards the net and he lobs it backdoor? Come on

^ Exactly, I don't see how you can say that was directed to the corner.
So, Doug MacLean thinks it was a bad goal... I'd say we can pretty conclusively say as a result that that was not Ramo's fault, right?

The Flames went to sleep after that Bollig tilt. Should never have accepted that fight as it really killed the momentum the Flames had. They are still in it, but they have to pick up the intensity.

A little weak from Ramo but the Flames were flat in the second half of the game. Move your feet and move the puck,it will come.

Bollig should learn to only get into fights if he is going to win them decisively.
Why hasn't he learned that yet?

the shot was low and at his pads. Of course there is a rebound, and he is tought to direct it towards the corner if there is going to be a rebound, which is exactly where that puck was going
