That was the Flames team I expected to see at the start of game 2, nice to see them finally get some sustained pressure in the Canucks zone. Loving the Ferland wrecking machine too, if this series goes the distance he could be a big difference maker with how many Canucks he's tenderizing

BTW...Greetings to my Flame Fan friends...I am OD-ing on Hockey today!...Of course, I am wearing Red tonight, as I am a fan of ANY team that is playing against the contemptible Canucks! (and because I hadn't changed out of the Red for my Blackhawk's game!)

The things that have been successful, for my guys, vs. the Canucks, over the years:

1. Hit their D-men...Bieksa and Hamhuis WILL retaliate, and let it bother them (think Bolland or Shaw, getting aggressive on the forecheck)

2. Vrbata, is shy, along the boards...hitting him early, and he WILL give up the puck...hit him late, and he will stop driving the net.

3. Traffic in Van goalie face...it worked against Lou...it worked against Schneider...it will work against Lack (and it will draw calls against Bieksa and Hamhuis, as they aggressively try to clear the crease).

4. Take the body, not the puck...especially against the Sedins...they will make you look foolish if you go for the steal with no support.

5. Don't give the divers ammunition to dive...clean hits, and stick on stick or puck only! Nothing near their skates or heads!

agreed, too much time and space and they seem to get their sticks on alot of loose pucks first
