Why would you give him any time on the powerplay? You're essentially calling it quits at that point.
Add on that the other team will typically put out their 1st line after a PK, and no surprise that line got hemmed into their own zone.
McGrattan had a good 10 seconds there before the PP ended.

I don't care what the score is; through 2 periods, TJ Brodie deserves a Star.

This is so bad I am actually watching baseball, and I hate baseball. Anyone know what channel the paint drying network is on?( in HD of course)

Hey here is a thought. Maybe Hartley doesn't want to throw a midget league sized player out on the ice all the time against a Chippy Blues team and have home get destroyed?

Ooh, all of 10 seconds.
Probably because they were a fresh line?
Also, Gaudreau, Raymond and Colborne out there. Got dominated by the Blues.

Frustrating that I can't get the game- glad he's playing well. Hope the 3rd goes better than the first two.

Yeah, it's Brodie vs the Blues tonight for sure. Brodie has been a freakin' beast. He just gets better and better. Too bad no one else is playing the same game as him.

Gaudreau is playing with Colborne and Raymond, who happened to be our best line last night.
They can't just throw him out there 20 minutes a game, he isn't ready for it yet.
They are trying to ease him in, its not like he has been dominant every shift.

3rd game into the season and I've already tuned out and started watching baseball and other games. As much of a Flames fan I am this is pretty unwatchable. There's something about that building and the fact the Flames play pretty bad in it that makes these games hard to watch.

I'm at west edmonton mall; had a conversation with a guy working at footlocker and it sounds like his entire social circle is already banking on McDavid. Silver lining to my day I guess.
