Lol I put my computer down at the call knowing full well Johnny would set up or score the winner. And lo and behold...

Colborne, Johnny, Sven, Granlund, Diaz were the best players in the game. Good tip by Glenny to end it. I guess fitting that a local boy would get the winner.

I think Max Reinhart should also be given a bit of credit. He was really solid out there and played a lot

Always a good feeling busting this out.

Gaudreau - was consistent on every single shift tonight. Looked extremely poised on every single shift out there

Sven - had a decent game, I still think he starts in the AHL though.

Sieloff - took some garbage penalties but he gets a pass.

Ferland - was hoping to see more from tonight

Jooris - given his limited ice time i thought he was good, he's having a very
impressive camp for me

Glencross - got better as the game went on, drew a penalty that lead to his own game winner

Diaz - VERY good pick up for us the guy can jump into a rush very well

Carr - looked very relaxed and got the job done

Granlund - honestly the guy deserves a spot on the starting roster come game 1. His game is so complete.

Woohoo!!!! Fataing hockey is here to stay with GT's and related threads to stay! One happy camper! Thanks to all for a nice GT and many more to come!! Johnny really was good given a virtually full NHL lineup coming at him. Just so much poise and even smartness on those sharp angle shots early on.

Those shots weren't at the crest either. He's getting a feel and gets pucks on net instead of them careening the other way. Much poise on the pp and crisp passes to the tape. Wow...

Grnalund is a pro as is Johnny. They are good. Sven showed that in the first 30 mins or so then tailed off a bit. All still will play a lot longer this camp.
Sieloff is powerful in his own end and actually shows some promise with the puck on the pp/offensively. He is a year behind, but to me only looks half a year behind.

Good game! They never gave up and fought through, which is most important. Could say more, but others will cover that more and what I said better.

I thought Carr looked better than Ortio last night.

Ortio was fighting the puck. Carr looked smooth.
