First Highmaul raid attempts tonight. I'm hearing that people are getting the first two bosses down pretty quickly. Hope same goes for us.

The LFR raids now open in Highmaul are hilariously easy, just for note I was 2nd and 3rd overall in dmg in both raids.

Really upgraded a lot this last 2 weeks, used my mage to make my cloak, and leveled my druid to make my leather gear

Yeah LFR is even more of a joke than before.

I also like how there's usually only one or two trash packs that basically act as a mini-boss, and so in LFR when all the mechanics of the trash pack don't matter either, it's just trash, into boss. Quick 30 min thing.

I joined openraid.us (there's an EU version as well) and hopped into a normal highmaul group. People are just awful at this game when challenged. I can see why Blizzard continues to add in easier and easier difficulty modes. However, I do suggest using a site like that for casual raiding. In general, people are friendly and the group I joined was reasonably well run, albeit lacking in skill.

I hadn't realized that the second wing was out. Got my hunter to 100, but before I start running heroics on it, I'm going to have to run my warrior through that loot pinata.

ugh, I don't even care if it's 8.5 years too late. 200+ runs on two different characters and the Bindings drop within 3 weeks of each other. 3400 thorium mined to get 100 arcane crystals. I win game ... #### you.

Do we have enough for Alliance 10-man Highmaul? I'd be willing to set it up. . .

If interested, post class, ilvl and spec...

If I don't have time to run it with my guild I would bring my holy paladin. Ilvl is 650 I believe. If he's saved I have a resto Druid around 638 that won't be saved for sure.

I "applied" to a weekend guild who thankfully seems pretty light on their requirements. Low ilvl requirements and welcoming to new raiders and haven't progressed very far so I can be part of it. I've always wanted to raid on weekends since I don't typically go out anymore so this should be pretty fun.

For normal yes. For heroic you need good healers. For Mythic you have to be geared appropriately or you're gonna get ass ####ed.

Also.

I can tank it.

I ran some Normal on my Mage and yes Blaster you were right, huge jump from LFR. Like, no comparison. Pugging goes not bad though we got 5/7 in my first pug and then this week I was able to pug 7/7. I did it so my follower missions would get bumped up to the next tier.

My mage is 655 ilevel although it is awkward, because I PvP as Fire with all crit/mastery and I PvE as Frost which is all multistrike. Half of my gear is PvP half is PvE epics so I know that my stats are all messed up. I also have my Hunter but he is only 630, however I will be getting my PvP weap next week so that will be a massive boost. Depending on time frame I would be down to run some CP dungeons. Even if we have to pug 4/10 or something it would be cool to get a few of us together.

You just have to down a couple Heroic bosses for the tier to go up.

643 Frost DK. I do have a 639 resto shaman, but I haven't healed much so far this expansion. Just LFR (which is a joke)

I did my first normal Highmaul on my hunter tonight. So much more fun than LFR. My damage was awful though, I think in part because I was kinda learning the fights on the go, and in part because I'm bad.

Only got one attempt on Imperator, but I can't wait to start doing that one.

I really want to get into heroic runs in HM, but having a tough time with the time zone issue, I'm GMT so that makes it hard.

For those of you who don't know. If you have a tanking class (and I think maybe healers?) the satchel you get for running heroics http://www.wowhead.com/item=104260 is Bind on Account. So yes, you can mail them to your levelling alts and gift them 630 blues. They can also contain mounts now.
