Clears up once you hit Anderson station. Couldn't tell you the difference from a normal weekday crowd.

I think they were turning some trains around early as I got on a nearly empty train at Chinook after taking a ridiculously packed 10

The guy was pulled out but was missing a leg. Apparently he was alive.

News said a couple of witnesses saw the guy jump onto the moving train and try to hold onto the mirror or something to ride the train to the next stop.
They pulled/pressed the emergency button but the train didn't stop for quite a distance.

I was wondering about that, as I ended up walking down 7th towards City Hall to catch the train there, and from about 3rd Street, they had those little yellow evidence pylons with the numbers on them marking stuff along the track. I saw his ball cap laying underneath one of the platform. It carried on all the way to Centre st.

Seriously?? That's why half of downtown is huddled around 2 C-train stations, cold and stuck? What a moron. Bonus idiot points for attempting that stunt right at the start of rush hour

There should be some kind of fine that CT can levy for this nonsense right? Delay of service or something?

I think the fine of losing-your-leg-and-possibly-life has been levied by the c-train itself.
Like is the threat of monetary penalty going to further deter someone when the actual consequences are loss of life or limb?!

It's pretty clear that losing a limb or your life isn't deterrent enough for a lot of people. Maybe there needs to be a financial deterrent as well.

Sort of like how the fine for not buying a ticket is ensuring that everyone always buys a ticket?
