Shouldn't come as a shock that the reffing has been brutal tonight. NBA wants a Game 7 or the Thunder in the Finals.

Aaaand it's a rematch. Go Spurs. Would love to see Timmy win another one before he hangs them up.

Ugh. Not a fan of either team. Choosing the lesser of the two evils on this one. Go Spurs.

That "not one, not two, not three, not four" crap from LeBron on Miami's big three reveal day is looking less ridiculous every year.

Spurs are better than they were last year, and Miami, not so much. Mike Miller's gone and Battier has regressed. However, Wade is now much better than last year and so is Bosh.

Wade and Bosh were barely a factor against the Spurs last year most of the games.

Last year, Danny Green and Gary Neal shot lights out from downtown as if anything they threw up will go in. Won't expect this to happen again this year.

Tony Parker's bum ankle or hammy is a big concern for the Spurs. On paper, I'll still give the Spurs a slight upperhand. But I'm going with LBJ's greatness and say Greg Oden will win his first ring before Durant will.

Well Chris Bosh is absolutely worse this year than last. Fewer PPG, fewer RPG, fewer APG, worse shooting %, substantially more 3P FGA (for a power forward?). I mean there's pretty much nothing he's doing better this year than last other than shooting more, longer jump shots (not good for a PF). So he's absolutely worse.

Wade might be better but it's relative. With his knee you can pretty much expect a bunch of 50/50 games: Either he'll contribute like he normally does or he'll be in the 12-14 point range. San Antonio is better this year, more motivated, and Miami of course barely won last year. I'm tempted to pick a sweep but San Antonio in 5 sounds about right.

San Antonio will easily beat Miami... I think it goes 6 games, but Spurs win it all this year.

Last year was close, Parker's close to last second layup stole Game 1 for the Spurs and Ray Allen's "the shot" stole Game 6 for the Heat. Other than those two games, the other five games were won by deciding fashion by the victors.

Still Danny Green and Gary Neal shooting lights out in the first five games gave the Spurs the 3-2 series lead at that time. IIRC, Danny Green set some sort of playoff 3 pt records in that series. You just can't expect that to happen this year.

If Parker's ankle and hammy are fine, the Spurs should win.

People on twitter always joke and call him the tallest shooting guard in the NBA. Highly accurate at this point.

So Dwight Howard allegedly is (was?) involved with one, possibly two, 16 year old girls. Some pictures are floating and Twitter and they certainly do not look good.

Is it possible that the Big 3 opt out and opt back in at a even lower salary, say, $12 mil each? Wouldn't the Heat have the money to sign someone, like, Kevin Love and form a big 4?

Just some random thoughts.

Well it'll cost the Heat probably Bosh to even acquire Love, as Miami as absolutely nothing to offer. Love is not a FA until next year. And for now it looks like Love is heading to either Chicago or Boston as they are loaded with assets to acquire him.

Oh, didn't realize Love isn't a UFA so that won't work of course.

If he was a UFA I'd imagine it'd be coming down to the Lakers or Knicks. Minnesota says they don't want to deal him but he's obviously not gonna stick around. Boston has like 10 first round picks in the next 5 years to deal and Chicago has several firsts and players like Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson to trade. I expect it'll be one of them who gets him. But since Love is a UFA next year, if he badly wants to be on the Lakers or Knicks, he can just not sign with whoever trades for him.

I've been laughing at Chalmers all game long, just hit a huge three for Miami though.
