Starts earlier than the NHL but comes in most handy when you're drafted by the Oilers and want to be traded asap.

Picked it up today, huge improvement over 11. I had a very hard time scoring on Pro level in Be A Pro in NHL11 so I started at that level and my guy scored 4 goals in his debut with the London Knights and had like 21 hits! Amped it up to All Star and it was much better, only scored a goal and had 5 hits. So far so good.

I'm not playing the game as much as I did with 13 when it came out due to GTA V and my continuing to play SWTOR.

But I have enjoyed the game play so far. The media interview stuff is hilarious as well.

I don't really play the GM role or online stuff so its a solid thumbs up for me so far, at least til I go to the NHL level.

The media questions get repetative and lame very fast. They need the ability to go into 'Tortorella Mode'.

I'm playing Be a Player and as a D man I have 35 goals and 13 assists in 12 games on superstar. Its still pretty easy to score with the stock sliders.

There was a roster update on the 11th that's pretty close to the starting rosters this year.

A few players are still missing / in the wrong place. Noticeably:

Reto Berra isn't on the Flames roster... not sure if Knight is there either I don't remember (he wasn't on previous rosters)

i havent played this gam very much because i have been busy, but i did start watching johnny superbmans channel as he plays. i think it was flash that posted a while back about his video finding a glitch or something. after that i started watching his vids and they crack me up. for some reason i enjoy watching him play more than playing myself!

man, i'm being patient in waiting till the roster updates come out that include the new players on the heat (knight, jooris, etc) before starting Be a GM, which is the only mode i can stand playing after the online hut/vs gameplay deteriorates due to the glitchers.

Any ideas when this could be expected??

I got impatient and just made some players (Jankowski, Gaudreau, Knight).

I have had this for a bit but finally got around to trying it for the PS3 tonight. Can anyone help me with how to change the controller configuration or can't you do that anymore? I want to play with the old school NHL 94 controls but change what some of the buttons do. I'm used to shoot and pass being different buttons. Any help?

Same. I took the time and made Berra, Gillies, Jankowski, Gaudreau, Knight, Arnold, Granlund, Agostino, & Ramage.

Hey guys, anybody know a good tutorial for Be A GM? I have always played the Be A Pro and when I started the Be A GM I am lost. What the hell is with the prospects ratings and colour codes to start? I have no clue what I am doing....

The colour codes means how accurate your scouts assessment of the player reaching their potential, which the stars represent. Red is weak probability, while green is a probable projection.

You think that's unrealistic? Try getting body checked by Jay Bouwmeester. I've emailed EA and am hoping for a future patch to rectify the issue.
