I think Alex Song leaving is way worse for the team than RVP. Don't know how they'll replace him.

Sahin won't move unless Modric goes to Madrid
it wouldn't surprise me, and it would be a Levy thing to do, if as part of the Modric deal Sahin can't be loaned to another Prem team this year

I imagine M'Vila would be a purchase possibility if Gunners lose Song.

The loss of Song would be an opportunity to improve. His defensive shortcomings have been clearly evident at times and his offensive contributions can be replaced by recent recruits. Replacing the clutch RvP goals is going to be much more difficult.

After getting burned on Arshavin, I'm not that keen on bringing in players with negative reputations.

What a beautiful day for the start of the football season.
I'm sitting at a pub on the banks of the river Thames about to head over to Craven Cottage. Should be a fun game. I'm interested to hear what Fulham supporters have to say about the Dempsey situation.
I will try and report back on the experience with some pictures later.

LOL
That was about the worst penalty I think I have seen.
Reina could have guessed the wrong way and still had time to go back and save that weak shot.

Swansea humiliate QPR while Rodgers and Allen get humiliated by WBA ... well, I didn't see that coming.

Santi was far and away their best player in that mediocre effort. No finish

Mixed bag for the Gunners on opening day. Cazorla looks great for Arsenal, Gervinho was good. Podolski seemed a bit lost out there, and Giroud missed a sitter.
A win would have been a just result for Arsenal if you look at the box score, but it was a deserved draw for Sunderland, if that makes any sense...

I'm not happy about losing Song. Of course, the impact of losing him can't be measured until we see who comes in to replace him.

Oh thank god, I'll have something to do at work on Sunday mornings again. I was getting prett bored all summer with nothing to keep me entertained in the mornings.

Swansea just demolished QPR today. Wonder if Hoilett is double thinking about signing with them after that first game?

Great opener for Swansea. 5-0 Really liked the new colors. Looked like the Welsh National team.
Michu and Dyer both with a pair and of course Sinclair added another late one.
Extremely fast paced game.
