Wow, i feel sorry for both QBs (Ricky Ray and Travis Lulay).. no protections whatsoever. Brutal game to watch. Hope to see BC wins against the Eskimos so the Riders stays at the bottom of the Western Division.

Calgary would also move to first in the division, hehe.

That says a lot that someone was more excited about the riders being last than the stamps being first.

Edit. Just to avoid a flame war let me be clear I'm not suggesting ozsome is a bad fan. Just that hatred must run deep when you're first thought is of ssk not the stamps.

These are the Esks I was expecting to see from the beginning of the season. Sometimes the suck takes the summer off.

yeah the Esks problems are more than injuries to the receivers and no protection for Ray. They are a young team starting to show who they really are imo. Joseph in at QB for Ray.

Detriments to the team? LOL

The best CB in the league and arguably the 2nd best CB in the league are now detriments to the team?

I know that Prider fans like to whine about these two because they were much better than any of the garbage that the Priders could get but these were two of the best guys in terms of talent and they way they handled themselves on the field. Classy all the way and nowhere near the crap that the Priders had/have. Not everyone can celebrate a game losing tackle like the great Tristan jackson.

Why wouldn't the refs continue the conspiracy now that we suck, the Oline sucks, the defence sucks, the receiving corps is mediocre and Durant is playing with the confidence of a 15 year old emo kid?
The refs have handed the Riders calls all year long so far this season.

Great to see that the Priders think it is coaching and not their complete lack of talent causing their issues.

The Riders are 2-11 in their last 13 regular season games. That tells me the problems are deeper than coaches and coaching. They are just not good enough. Taman and Miller need to be held responsible for that but there has to be some accountability with the players, they are not making plays.

Greg Marshall fires off on Ken Miller and Rider organization, some interesting comments from a very pissed off man, or as it seems judging by some of those comments.

I don't think Marshall did a great job as head coach but it sure looks like there's too many cooks in the kitchen. With Miller back running the show I expect a lot of offensive plays calling for roll-outs with Durant going deep hoping for the miracle catch or a gratuitous pass interference call.

You hit the nail on the head right there. This Rider team is mega dysfunctional at this point in time.

And it is like there has been a rotation of franchises that just can't get their #### together in the last 5-10 years.

What's weirder is the turnaround is usually pretty quick.

Just look at Calgary. Legacy of the 90s turns into an ugly joke for a few years and then they bounced back.

Winnipeg was a great team for a few years in the 2000s and then turned into a joke and are back again.

TO won back to back GC's in the 90s then went to the dumps, won a GC, went to the dumps, came back, went to the dumps again.

Hamilton. Well Hamilton's had a rough ride for the last 5-7 years but they are nearing respectability.

Riders. Total joke of a franchise for the better part of...well ever really. Then really turned it around about 8 years ago. Made 3 of 4 GC's, looked like they had a nice bright future and are now a shadow of where they were even 9 months ago.

BC's was pretty good for a while and have only recently come on hard times.

Edmonton went from perennial contender to joke to 5-0 to nearing failure status pretty quick this season.

Seriously the only team in the CFL with a great last decade and bright future is Montreal.

Everyone else has had at least a few years of being in disarray. Hiring and firing coaches, questionable ownership, on and off the field issues etc.

Is Calvillo going to play until he's 50? Hurting him is the only reason the Riders aren't 0-8 this year!
