Thank god they scored before the end of the period. They've got some life now, and the crowd has come alive again. Flames just need to keep forcing the play by using their speed and physicality. Hopefully this thing will be tied by the end of the 2nd.

Tough period. We had a couple of bad plays (and some bad luck) and Vancouver put them in the back of our net. We didn't capitalize on our chances. It happens.
We'll get our bounce at some point this game, and if we keep battling we'll be in a position to take advantage of it.

I know that wasn't world class goaltending, but I'm surprised most are pointing at goaltending. It was three terrible defensive lapses. Combine that with not burying golden chances and you'll find yourself down in any playoff game.

I am glad we got a goal as that changes the tone heading into the dressing room. Top line is looking better but they need to get on the scoreboard. Stay out of the box and lets even this thing up in the second.
