The more I look at it, I don't think I'd buy or wear the green one, but... I think that we're going to get something like that every year. Some sort of pattern, fade, subtle (or not so subtle) reference to... something. I'm just old and boring.
That's the beauty of soccer through - next year it'll be something different. Not like hockey where we were stuck with those god damned flags on the shoulder for far too long.

Ugh, I was thinking of buying a kit this year but I don't love the look of either of those. Maybe they'll look different in person.
That home design is a bit too phallic looking tbh.

I dont like the northern lights on the green.
The red without the, snow birds?, on the front would look great!
Maybe a i can grab one of the first two season kits on ebay...

At first glance I like them more than last year’s kit. No black is a big win. I could see myself picking one of them up at some point

I don't mind these. They've definitely better than some of the previous ones. Not sure the green trim on the red kit does it for me though, feels too Christmas-y haha.
If next year they do a 'classic' kit and go back to the year one home kit with the sash and the correct red... TAKE MY MONEY

I was so wrong about the black lightning kits last year (which looked incredible in person) that I'll reserve judgement.
I've been pining for a green kit that doesn't have a collar or camo, so may need to put my money where my mouth is.

I'm glad the black jersey is gone. I'm glad they've gone back to green.
I'm really interested to see what attendance will look like this season. I'm really hoping 3,500-4,000 can become our baseline attendance and that we can regularly hit 5-6,000 on a nice weekend.

This is a critical year for Cavalry. Coming off a big year, a trophy, the Concacaf Champions Cup, increased attendance, and general momentum in the city. I'm hoping their attendance increases due to all these factors; it would be incredibly disappointing if it goes the other direction, crossing fingers it doesn't.
The more fans that make ATCO Field their new home, the better! Would love to one day the 200 and 201 energy extend all the way to end of 203. That would be amazing.

FWIW it looks like season ticket sales are around the 2200 mark. If that is the case it's up a few hundred from 2023.
Most of the sales are walkups and a lot come from local soccer so I think 3500 as a baseline can be hit with a few 5000 crowds sprinkled in. Near the end of the year crowds of 4500 were pretty regular.
Still can't believe Calgary is regularly getting those crowds for local soccer.

Hypothetical question:
Could ATCO Field be used as a training grounds for any competitors leading up to WC2026? Is that even allowed, and would there be any revenue potential from letting teams train in Calgary's altitude to get ready?
Just thinking out loud.

From what I understand, training facilities have to be within the city hosting the games (but I could be wrong). This was the case when I worked on Edmonton's Commonwealth bid for the 2026 games - there were four renovated training sites that were proposed around the city that were required.

Glad to have green back, but reserve judgement with the lighter green for the northern lights.
Home with the techno half completed sash that has run into some rendering problems halfway up?
Looks way too busy. And then what looks to be a templated Macron background with cubes and triangles and the sort.
Macron around the world has some odd kits but it appears every couple years they use the CPL as a testing ground as to what might work and what doesnt...assuming these aren't used in some far outpost already.
Original set is best...the green and red kits. I think a reverse kit with white would've been a nice change up,

While I can't claim to know the official rules and procedures, I think it might be different for the World Cup. Teams usually have base camps and that probably requires greater spatial flexibility. If this is the case, I doubt Spruce Meadows would beat MLS training grounds in terms of facilities and proximity.
