And Westbrook is never going to accept not being the main guy on any team he's on.

The most hilarious part is the Blazers tried to tank in the final game of the season to avoid the Thunder in round one. Now they'll have a decent chance to make the conference finals. In an alternate career Russ is drafted by the Spurs and Pop harnesses his true potential. As it is his career is basically the greatest stat padding career that didn't really accomplish anything meaningful. This also might be the most lopsided first round ever, only one series will go past five games.

Powell singlehandedly making a mess of a huge Raptors lead. Get him off the floor, yo absolutely can't blow this game after the leads they've had.

Kinda off topic, but how is Sportsnet manage to snag so much prime Raptors playoff games from TSN this year? You figure TSN would be greedy for more since Sportsnet dominates NHL and Blue Jays coverage.

I believe in the Jays.

Gasol should get huge credit for his defense too. He did a fantastic job on Embiid tonight, and also neutralized Vucevic in the first series. He is a difference maker even when his stats arent overly amazing.

Missed the game, but 45 for Leonard? Nice.

How does SA not foul there? You're not scoring 4 points in 3 seconds.

Was nice to see playoff DeRozan in full effect.
Saw a sequence in the 2nd half where he missed 3 straight shots, AND ignored his man on D giving up an easy dunk.
As for raps, those turn around fadeaways from Leonard looked like Jordan all over again.

You missed the first half where DeMar was 1-10, which was peak playoff DeRozan. He was probably their best player in the second half, but that was a pretty ugly game. Spurs will be kicking themselves for not shooting better, Nuggets did everything they could to lose that game in the end. The not fouling thing is bizarre, but I doubt it would have mattered.

They co-own the team.

That I'm aware of. It seems compared to last year though, Sportsnet seems to be getting more games of the prime games, such as Game 1 last round and this round, as well Game 7 this round if it goes this far.

The Rockets are unwatchable because it's ugly iso ball, Harden flops and forced threes, the Warriors are unwatchable because all they do is whine and Draymond nut shots. The Raptors literally play the best brand of basketball left. Feels weird.

Keep in mind Rogers just recently bought much more of MLSE, I believe.

Lol oh man that flop by Harden on the game tying three was embarrassing. Don't blame Chris Paul for being pissed and getting tossed on that no call though, terrible reffing.

The NBA and MLB are the worst leagues from an officiating standpoint. Ironic that the two leagues (NFL and NHL) with a faster pace and more moving parts, are the better officiated leagues.
