Last week, Tabby said that the players need to stay lubricated and today he said Merrifield has a great body. This is my kind of baseball.

Team is so much more fun. Montoyo really really really literally held them back.

White is a bit of a Stripling clone. Stripling has a killer change up which is a bit of differentiator…hopefully, White can turn that slider into a weapon.

Jesus, what a cluster #### of a play there. How did he get hurt so badly? He hit his forearm but his shoulder injury looks like a dislocation. Bizarre.

Looks like the tag attempt is where it happened. Not good. We could use another leftie. The Borucki move is biting us in the ass.
Maybe we’ll see Tiedemann this year.

Sure didn't look good. I guess a good thing it's his non-throwing arm but if it's messed up he's still going to miss a lot of time. What a weird play to get such a crappy injury.

Dislocation for Mayza. Okay CP doctors, what kind of timeline are we looking at here? I've never dislocated mine.

I’m only a fake doctor, but generally looking at anywhere from 2-6 weeks. Probably shorter since it’s his non-throwing arm.

Wow, that's way shorter than I would have guessed. I thought it would be more like 3-4 months. I hope you're right

Depends entirely on any other damage done when the dislocation occurred (torn ligaments etc) ....could be months.

It’s 2-6 weeks for stability. It can be much longer if you needed that shoulder for any vigorous sport activity. Like I said, since it’s his catching arm, as long as he can field a ground ball he can play. I would bet September if everything goes well.
