Denis does that a lot, when you think he got it under control and he would gift his opponent.

Well, that's a shame and this might sound like sour grapes, but the better player today lost this match. Shapo had double the winners of Rublev (yes he also had more unforced errors), but Denis dictated that match. Stupid match super-breaker.

The difference was the break point conversion rate, Shapo converted four out of 17 break point opportunities. A couple more of those points won and Shapo is in round 4.
