A glazed donut as a bun seems so gross to eat. Forget a moist towelette, you’re into finger bowl territory.

Had one once in the US and it wasn't great because the chicken was too greasy and hot to hold which is why you need a donut or bun or something on the outside.

Those back ups are always temporary. Chic Fil A hasn't had an effect on mcleod trail for months.

Perhaps, but being literally across from a convention centre is also a perfect spot for a hotel.

It says it's a 13 storey hotel, so the white framing around the windows seem to span two storeys each. I think your eye assumes those are a single storey, and it looks smaller as a result.

Obviously the convention centre is key, but it's also right on a train station and about 4 blocks from where 17th gets vibrant

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Not to mention...maybe travelling teams will book it? It seems perfect.

Being next to the convention centre makes sense but isn’t it basically going to cast a huge shadow over a big chunk of the stampede midway at around 4oclock?

After having experience the midway on a hot Stampede day, I would say having some shade is a feature, not a bug.
There are 50+ other weeks during the year to consider.
