Let's talk about Donald Trump's record as President of the United States. So far, he has done:

The analysis in your article states that he would have had $3.94B, which is less than the $8B claimed, but that is still more than his current estimated wealth of $3B-$4B.

Has anyone ever actually done this? I think the answer is probably no, which makes it the stupidest argument regardless of the outcome

As opposed to alll the Righty mountains of fake news?
Fox News ran the entire weekend before the election with a fake story that Clinton would be indited by the FBI in the New Year, then made a 1 sentence retraction on Monday and never mentioned it again.
Let's not forget the 5 year smear campaign Drumpf lead against Obama being born in Kenya only to make 1 small statement at the end of a press conference then run and hide like the pansy-ass-bitch he is.
Fake news is the only news the right in the US has. That and hacked stolen information provided by Russia. So yeah, over estimating how much his fortune may be had he simply invested is a "nice" little bit for the lefty's....
Good thing we can compare the actual researched amount to his actual net worth because he released his taxes like HE said he would do. Right?
Right?

Trump just praised Putin (again) through a tweet.
Tweet has since been re-tweeted by the US Russian embassy, and pinned to Trumps feed.
This is surreal. Conservative America and Russia are officially on the same team.

That's not fake news. That is a story based on misinformation, not disinformation. It was an honest mistake made by taking a quote out of context and not fact checking it for validity. The reality is that the math was right, it just depended on working the numbers a specific way. That is not fake news. It really annoys me when people start using the fake news term to describe information they don't like or think is wrong. Fake news requires intent to mislead. No intent here. Just bad reporting.

Do you really find this shocking? The political spectrum is a sphere. If you keep heading in the same direction you'll end up popping up on the other side of the 2D map. Look at the neo-cons. They were Trotskyites who took one too many steps left and ended up on the extreme right. The American right has been on a sprint to the extreme right the last 10-12 years, so it only makes sense they should end up over at the same place Putin and his thugs are. Imagine trying to explain this to the people who live down here and have been bred to believe the Russians are the enemy.

It is fascinating that they are on the same page.
If there is a new period of "understanding" between the Russians and US, this would mean some very tough times for the EU

Interesting move by Putin to not retaliate by kicking out American diplomats in Russia and even inviting them and their families to the Kremlin to celebrate the new year.

Maybe not so much, they do not have the same access to an open society that Russian spies have in the US. From a practical perspective, kicking spies out hurts the Russians more then it does the US.

But even that pursumes he could have sold the 40 million share of his fathers company in 1972 and invested in a market that didn't exist until 75. The article above is also the most charitable version to the claim.
It also doesn't include various taxes he would have been subjected to.
It's fake news. A great sound bite but when actually analysed is most likely false given the situations at the time.
It also doesn't address why the S&P index as opposed to other indexs.
I'm not saying trump is a good businessman but using this meme to discredit him isn't genuine.

I think there is an intent to mislead. In putting together the meme that was shared on Facebook someone intentionally took the quote out of context to use it to undermine Trumps credentials.
I don't see how the creation of this meme is different than what is being done on the right. Information is fabricated that sounds true and is loosely based on referenced information so it looks sourced but when actually reviewed is not true.

The iPhone operator of Trump's account has gotten a hold of it again because the Putin Tweet is no longer pinned. Still given that he's upping his love of Putin rather than dialing it back, I'm starting to think that if his poll numbers are awful right out of the gate, decent chance he's impeached within his first 100 days. Awful poll numbers will be all the GOP needs to give him the heave and let Pence take over.

Putin can afford to not retaliate, in just over 3 weeks he will be the defacto President of the United States.

Becoming more friendly with Russia is about the only thing that I welcome about Trump's presidency. I really did not like how it was turning back into the cold war again.
Some argue that somehow it is giving more power to Russia. I don't see it that way, but to each his own. I am still of the opinion that the world's largest exporter of terror is in fact the USA, and even under Obama this went on unabated. Every presidency I hope for something different, but every presidency (regardless of which party wins) it just seems to get worse.
Sounds like Trump is going to be friendlier with Russia (which I say is a good thing) but is going to make the USA more unfriendly with Iran (which is probably a bad thing) and then going to be more friendly with Israel (which is good and bad), but is definitely going to be much more unfriendly with every immigrant in the USA.
Well, I can't say how this will all turn out in the end. I hate both parties in the USA. I don't feel either party will do more good in the world than harm when they take power. All I know for sure - and this is unquestionable - is that Trump will make for better TV. That's about as sure as I can be about anything. Other than that, I have no clue what will happen.
