Edmonton Elk is hilariously uninspired, sure to instill fear in rivals as they conjure images of deer hanging out eating grass.

I vote for 'Edmonton Ilk', definitely hits the mark and still rolls of the tongue nicely.

Honorable mention for 'Edmonton Flounder' in keeping with the animal theme.

They could be the Golden Eagles - they are native to Alberta, and Edmonton has gold in their color scheme.
