I'm not normally a fan of rogue-like games but the Ori games are great and I agree Will of the Wisps is the better one. I tried to get into Hollow Knight a couple of times, because it seems to be rated the best rogue-like by most people, but it didn't vibe with me. For me the Ori games are near perfect.
Just a heads up, a rogue-like game usually deals with randomly generated areas and permadeath, and you have to start over when you die. Ori and Hollow Knight are considered Metroidvania games, because of the slightly non-linear nature of the gameplay and emphasis on backtracking.

Yup. And in that genre I still put Hollow Knight up top but it's close. Ori is just so damned pretty to look at.

I will very likely play Elden Ring as I do most From games but this looks like Dark Souls with combat lifted from Sekiro using the same old game engine.
Picked up Ghost of Tsushima during the last sale and holy crap is it a pretty game. Combined with the 60fps patch for the PS5 it's one of the best looking games I've ever played. This is why I'm so glad I held off on playing it and RDR2 before it until I grabbed a PS5

Are PS4's still selling? I have a PS4 and PS4 Pro collecting dust since I got my PS5 and have been too lazy to look at selling. Actually I'm kind of a hoarder in that I don't like to get rid of things in case I need them again which I never do.

I kept telling myself I would wait, but I pulled the trigger on the PS4.
Awesome game, but my PS4 was working in overdrive. It sounded like a nascar while running. It even shut off once, I assume it overheated.
I guess I only did about 15% of the game and called it quits. Guess I'll just buy it again when I eventually get the PS5.

I have two of them that don't work (WLOD) that people can have for like 80 bucks apiece if someone wants to fix them and flip them. A slim and a normal one.

Buy it again? Did you refund it? There is no PS5 version of Tsushima, just a PS5 specific patch for the PS4 version, so what you bought is what you will play on there

Watching the Battlefield stream. Hazard Zone mode sounds intriguing, looking forward to hearing more about that during EA Play next month
The specialists also sound like a cool way to play specific classes now. You can use any weapon, with any throwables while having a special array of abilities/weapons/perks.

Oh I see.
I bought it digital, so it's associated with my account. When I get a PS5, I can just access it and play without spending any more dough?

Yes. As long as you own the PS4 version, you get the free PS5 upgrade patch. I just updated FF7-Remake and am playing it over again after needing to just pay the for DLC episode. Not sure if this will apply to all games going forward, it seems to be.
