So, in 2008, the NDP had 37 total seats, with 1 in Quebec.

Now, they have 106 with 61 in Quebec (on the Herald's counts). That's from 36 to 45 outside of Quebec...not as momentous as it was in Quebec.

The "Orange Surge" did more to help Harper get his majority than it helped the NDP in Anglo-Canada.
