Haha so predictable. Steelers arch-rivals lay down for them in the final game, and OOT scoreboard is kind to them as always. Forever blessed.

Not really. Bills can be down in the second half and pull their guys if they want. Texans-Colts was the only guaranteed win and in, I get why they went for the Bills-Dolphins, but now it's not edge of your seat, how can the Bills crush their fans hopes game it would have been with a Jags win. And with it being 50/50 the two teams rematch next week I could see it being a very vanilla game to not show too much.

hoping for Bills-Steelers now so I can hop straight onto the Bills bandwagon after they crush the Steelers. Can't stand the Chiefs and have no interest in being blown out by them again.

Schedule makers can't predict the future.

Watt said it well. Seeds still matter.

Arthur Smith cussing out the Saints coaches in the post-game handshake, classy end to a classy coach. Back to creating musical scores in porn scenes bud

Exactly, they had a guaranteed win and in game and chose the game that could possibly be for seeding and nothing else. Should have taken the conservative route. It still matters, but the drama factor is down by 90% now that the Bills can't be eliminated.

If that was Belichick's last game as Pats head coach than losing to the Jets is poetic

Do games ever get start times changed? Like haven't these times been set in stone for over a year?

Week 18 is the only week with an unset schedule, they decide the schedule to maximise high leverage games in big spots. They chose Bills-Dolphins last Sunday. They are also contractually obligated to have the two Saturday games have "playoff implications", which is why they had Steelers-Ravens since despite it meaning nothing to the Ravens was a playoff game for the Steelers.

it's hilarious. Your team gets absolutely curb stomped, and that's what pisses you off?! Oh well.

You honestly think the Bills aren’t going to play for potentially 2 home playoff games?

I'm saying that if they are down in the second half they don't have to take any chances, they are in the playoffs. There's not gonna be even close to the same level of desperation chasing seeding versus making the playoffs at all. Josh Allen might risk life and limb to pick up a first down with the season on the line, not so much if it's just seeding.

Conversely I hope McDaniel is cocky enough to take it easy and go to KC next week.

sooo who's fired tomorrow? Belichick, Smith, Rivera? Do the Bears keep Eberflus? Does Vrabel stay? McConnell, Daboll? Will be interesting for sure.

i assume JAX picks. up the 5th year option on Lawrence but he isnt looking like anything special. above average but not even close to elite. the comeback against the poverty franchise that is the Chargers last year might have skewed some views of him.

^^I assume you mean O'Connell, unless Mitch McConnell became a coach? But I actually think it'll be tame for firings, Smith and Rivera might be the only gimmes. I imagine Belichick gets traded to Washington instead of fired. I think Eberflus and Daboll will get another year, their guys played hard for him down the stretch. Dennis Allen should be fired, but the Saints are the most stubborn franchise and will probably keep him and kick their cap situation to being $250 million over in 2025.

The Bears are run horribly so Eberflus stays, Atlanta seems committed to justifying their hiring of Smith so he stays as well even though he clearly should be canned.

I think Rivera is gone right away, Belichek eventually goes but not tomorrow, Vrabel to NE makes sense to me but not sure it does to him so he ends up staying, Dabol gets another year because of the Jones injury which is ok not because Jones being out hurts them but I think he is a good coach.
