Leylah is in tough just like Bianca tonight, Samsonova has won a couple of WTA titles recently including last week in Cleveland.

This Leylah - Ludmilla match is heating up, Samsonova up a break, but that was a nice hold from Leylah just now.

Leylah in another tough service game and then decides to nail back-to-back aces for the hold.

Leylah will need to step things up as she drops the opening set 6-3. Samsonova is all business tonight.

To Leylah's credit, she has stepped things up, but Samsonova continues to be rock solid.

My goodness, Leylah saves five match points to force a 2nd set tie-break.

Felix in trouble, down a set and now a break in set 2 as Draper hits a ridiculous passing shot.
Edit: Felix will need to go five sets to advance.

I don't see Felix coming all the way back from this. It's frustrating to watch because he and Draper are neck and neck in every stat except unforced errors. Felix is just not hitting his spots.

They showed Toni Nadal in the crowd and I'm wondering if he's conflicted as he's cheering against the left-hander.

I don't know, I just see no development in Felix's game, still coughs up too many double-faults, return of serve is still not very good, and he still commits too many unforced errors from routine rally balls. He's a great athlete and when his first serve is working, he's tough to beat, but there's still too many ups-and-downs in quality.

Yeah I think that break is the end. Hate to count the guy out but he's getting worked when he's serving and run over when he's not.

That's probably the match right there.
