Classic Schneider. If he's not pulling the starter too soon like he did with Bieber he's leaving them in when they're clearly struggling.

You couldn't trust Berrios to start if you had to pull him the moment he started to struggle.

Mid is generous. That analytics page is nightmare fuel. He is a below average inning eater that you want on the rotation to absorb games while you develop young players on a rebuilding team.

Berrios should be taking notes. This is how you pitch with a lead. Just throw strikes. They'll get the odd hard hit but let your defense do their job and get the odd strike out. Not nibble with your mid stuff. What a bum.

He was already struggling in the first. So much that they already had Tate warming up and then sat him down.

He should have been pulled even before giving up the homerun. Sometimes you even have to pull the best pitchers early when they don't have it.

Except with Berrios it's a coin flip every time he steps on the mound. It isn't a matter of if he will melt down, it's a matter of when. Sometimes inning one. Sometimes inning six. He cannot get out of a start without it happening unless the manager pulls him "early".

He isn't a reliable starter.

Springer!

He's going to get MVP votes at this rate.

Without the concussion I think he wins it.

I wouldn't say he melted down his last game.

He went 6.1 innings with 8k and then started to losing it so Schneider put Varland in who made it worse than it should have been. Then Hoffman came in and did what he does best lately and had to be bailed out in extra innings.

The IKF throw in the second wasn’t great and was too nonchalant but Vladdy didn’t seem to have great footwork at first either.

He melted down and put on three straight batters with garbage pitches. All the runs that Varland let across the plate were charged to Berrios.

A lot of the pixie dust that was sprinkled over some guys throughout the season seems to be wearing off all at the same time.

2 were. 1 was an error. Varland was still ass and couldnt do his job.

Anybody who doesn't have a hate on for the guy would take a 6 inning, 4 hit, 8k, 2ER game from Berrios. Tonight not so much even though he only got credited with 2 ER because of the error.

That was a play IKF absolutely needs to make 100% of the time. Buck giving cover to him.

I remember IKF being a better defender than this. 2 terrible errors.
