I don't know if barking at Youzhny will do any good. How about hitting a half-decent drop shot Shapo?

Edit: There's the break - Let's go!

And then broken straight back at love (helped by two Shapo double-faults).

Well that was short lived. Back on serve after breaking him back at love.
I’ve only watched a few games, but it appears Harris is just sitting way back, getting balls back in play safely, and waiting for Shapo to make an error. And Shapo is indulging.

Break back to love. That's pretty embarrassing.

Well, that stopped a run of 10 straight points for Harris.

He is hitting some amazing balls too, this isn't just a backboard. I agree with the announcer that Denis needs to get to net more although I have only been watching for 20 minutes so not sure what it was like before that.

He certainly can try getting to net more, but Harris has been deadly with the passing shots tonight. I did like what the announcer said about mixing in more high balls and slices, try to get Harris off-balance because he's just in a purple patch right now.

Meanwhile, Shelby Rogers is trying to knock off #1 seed Ash Barty (5-5 in set 3)

You can't win when you have multiple double faults in your service games (not this deep in the tourney).

Standard Denis... can't hit a first serve today, so he's toast against anyone who's playing at a reasonably high level. It's so obvious what the solutions are but I guess if it was easy to implement them he'd have done it already.

I think we have to give Harris some credit here as well though, he played a fantastic match tonight. Yes, he got plenty of help from Denis tonight, but he also took full advantage of his opportunities.

That's a shame. Whelp, still got Bianca, Leylah and Felix to cheer.

Ok, yeah Federer and Nadal aren't at this US Open. But it has been really exciting so far. More so than Wimbledon this year.

Don't look now but there are already three American men in the round of 16, and Sock just took the first set against Zverev

Sock is done unfortunately, the leg is heavily wrapped and he can barely move.
