I think Sanders, even without winning the nomination, has been good for Hillary as a candidate. He forces her to talk more about plans, to push farther left than she normally would, rather than falling back on her experience and hoping it's enough.
I'd love to see Sanders win the nomination, but it's highly unlikely. But as a candidate against Hillary, he's done some very good things and forced her to talk about actual issues that progressives are concerned about. O'Malley did the same, bringing up gun control, which forced Hillary to deal with that as well.
The GOP half of the coin is still just such a clown show that I can't tolerate watching any of them speak. Even the so-called "moderate" of the group just defunded PP in his state. Horrifyingly enough, Trump may actually be the least awful of the GOP nominees. Cruz wants a Christian Theocracy, not a Democracy. Rubio has no idea what he's doing most of the time and rarely shows up for votes. Carson is just a flat out nutjob. Kasich plays the role of moderate when he's actually almost as extreme right as the others. At least with Trump, a lot of it feels like rhetoric and chest-beating without much conviction.
God, living in the US is just depressing right now.
I wouldn't call it depressing, but flat out scary. If Trump becomes President I hope he builds a wall on our border.

So I think tonight's a win for the 'contested convention' fans. Nobody's dropping out after tonight. Cruz had a great night but is reaching the end of his strong states. Trump is doing well, but isn't running away with it, and looks more vulnerable than he did a week ago. Kasich is doing well enough that winning Ohio should be a real possibility. Maybe we get some crazy 4 candidate convention.
Looking like the front runners are doing worse than anticipated. Hell, Kasich is within 2 in VT.

Christie better get a VP nom for this. His political career is over unless his riding the Trump gravy train actually works out. He looked so pathetic tonight, like he needed his big brother's approval.

I'm just now seeing this, and I'm not sure how I missed it.
After the intensely uncomfortable reaction of his daughter to a kiss on the cheek, this wife-beating joke is kind of awkward. Just...who even makes that joke? Where did that even come from? How is that the first thing he goes to?
Ted Cruz is the scariest GOP candidate by a long shot.

Is it a fair observation that Southern states have too much influence on Super Tuesday?
Not really, Hillary just dominated by massive margins and she got the bulk of the delegates as a result. Georgia and Texas just happen to be two of the eight largest states in America, and she won both by 35+%. Bernie is just winning smaller states which hurts his count. He's just struggling to attract outside young people. And if Trump is the nominee with the Latino populations of those states, they could even be in play for the Dems.

It's the classic example of a loaded question (or complex question fallacy), a question that contains an assumption of guilt or that you can't answer without looking bad. Have you stopped beating your wife, yes is just as bad an answer as no.
The insinuation being that the liberal media will ask loaded questions to get answers that serve their liberal agenda.
