Is the show not portraying theoretical evens unfolding if such a virus outbreak happened? In reality a zombie outbreak from an unknown virus is less far fetched than dragons in GOT (which doesn't make every character an expert swordsman) and it's not like the show is Resident Evil video game fiction. It's based on a 'what if scenario' and how people would survive. Better attention to details would be somewhat appreciated as the show tries to be serious then you get these zombie shooting scenes that look like an 80's Schwarzenegger or Stallone movie. Just doesn't fit the material IMO.

But she's so goddamned hot.

True, but also remember it's based on a series of comic books - which have their own set of norms. So it's sort of theoretical fiction based in world that has different rules than ours.

Not calling them zombies is a prime example of this

Theoretical and zombie?
Early on you told me to look up theoretical fiction which I did, I then gave the definition of what it meant. Zombies walking the earth does not fall into that description anymore then Hobbits do. An example of theoretical fiction would be a movie like Olympus has Fallen or a tv show like breaking bad. I would totally be on board with nit picking realism in those examples as they are portraying theoretical fiction but Zombies? Walking Zombies? No so much.

Just started watching this show and love it. On season 2 but is it just me or is it hard to figure out some of the characters names? It's like they weren't properly introduced and it's hard to figure out some of their names. Just me?

I would run off in zombie land for a drink too if I had to listen to Darryl chew his food like that. Come on Walking Dead people, what a god awful, unnecessary sound to highlight.

Watching this show since the prison attack has been painful. 4 episodes since and it has barely moved the plot at all. This shows appeal is really slowing down.

Inconsistencies, characterization, and most importantly narrative has really collapsed into itself. However, I'm too invested at this point. Like Dexter, I'm just watching now to see how it plays out.
That said, I have hope that Abraham and his crew inject something so ridiculous that I can embrace the show for what it is and what it has become.
As a side note, who knew that a Darryl-centric episode could be so uninteresting?

I actually don't mind the show being slow...but please don't pick some of the most unlikable or uninteresting characters to do it.

Yeah, I dunno why it feels forced with this show, but it does.
This one wasn't as bad as the first one, had some good moments, but still felt a little forced.

I didn't mind the episode, anything that reminds me of Last of Us which is a plus in my book. But like others I really hope the show starts progressing eventually. That doesn't seem like it's going to happen if they intend on branching off episodes into four different group of survivors. There just aren't enough interesting characters to go around for me to really give a damn.

Just an idea for everyone who thinks the show isn't worth watching anymore.
Change the channel. I am sure you can find something else.
