The choice is pretty clear for me. If any of the top three of Reinhart, Ekblad, or Bennett are there at 4 (because at least 2 will be gone for sure) you take him. If all three are gone - take Dal Colle. That seems to sum up about 85% of people's thoughts on here.

I'm assuming he stays at LW. It's a big question mark at this point if Dal Colle could be a legit center. Having Dal Colle and Gaudreau on LW leaves no room for Baertschi in the top 6. We can force one to the off-wing but I prefer they don't.
Gaudreau if you notice in ACs game breakdown video that Gaudreau does some good work on the right side. He has the tool box to make the switch to RW IMO.
We could always send Dal Colle down for another year to learn how to play C the way the lightning did with Drouin.
Dal Colle will almost definitely need a year or two outside the NHL before he's ready. At 6'2 170 he's a boy with a mans body. Cammy has 15 pounds on him even though he's 5 inches shorter. He'll need to get to 190 or so before he's ready to go.
I kinda hope edmonton pass on drasaitl. As good as Reinhart and Bennett are, they won't be able to get the puck off Monahan, colbourne and Leon or dal colle. We will be able to dominate them down low.
I'm a big Dal Colle fan, but if you can get Reinhart, you take Reinhart.

Yeah if Reinhart's there we probably take him.
He just seems a lot like an RNH type centre. Not big, not speedy but really smart. With Monahan, Backlund, Granlund, and Jankowski I think we may be fine at top two line centre.
Dal Colle seems like nothing we have in the system. He's a big rangy winger/centre with an elite shot. When he fills out he'll have a similar build and skill set to Corey Perry IMO although perhaps not as feisty.
I'd be pretty ecstatic with either one really. Hard to go wrong in this draft IMO. Either you land one of the Sams when they drop or you grab Dal Colle or Draisaitl, two big rangy skilled guys.
Last year we knew one of Lindholm or Monahan would fall to us. This year it looks like two of the following will be left for us to pick from: Bennett, Reinhart, Dal Colle and Draisaitl.

Good vision, good size, protects the puck well, pretty good shot. Decent one on one moves. I see why people say he slows the game down ... Looks a bit like Getzlaf during the lockout. Doesn't look like a great skater and tough to tell how he plays on the other side of the puck. But the kid has game.

Very Malkin-ish uses reach, stance, protects the puck in the same way. Would be very happy to get this kid, could see him doing wonders with a Gaudreau on his wing, seems the both see and read the ice the same,make it so Burke!
