Seconded. One of the best TV shows ever imo.

Sure I have the series on DVD but the laze factor of just pushing a button is just too strong!

complaining about 8 bucks might make me sound like a cheapo, but why did my credit card get charged $7.99 if I signed up for a free month??

At the end of the month, you are charged for the next month unless you cancel.

Might that be it?

Hey Cheepo! :P

If it was charged right at signup, I'd contact Netflix themselves and ask. If it was charged at the end of the month, you're probably paying ahead for the next month.

PS - "Thumbs Up!" is a great concept, but horrible execution. I gave it a shot considering Netflix had no information available on it.

Basically, it's this guy and his nephew who are traveling across the United States, without paying for any travel expenses. Great concept.

It lost me when the guy said that he did it once before in the 90s grunge era, and almost got raped two times. Then went on to showcase how those who do this on a regular basis will poop close to the track lines, while filming some results...

I didn't feel like this guy was on a learning experience that he wanted to share with the viewer. His stories sounded far fetched at best, and I just thought it was more of a piss off to the viewer that he could do this.

I don't reccomend it at all.

I watched all of the Thumb's Up episodes and I liked them. The guy really is kind of a bad ass, which made it more interesting than if it were sanitized for prime time. Season two was better than the first season, though.

I could see where one would think he was 'bad ass', and keep in mind that I only saw like 20 mins, which was all I could stand of the guy. I just didn't get him. His UFC/Dead Hooker/$40k in gambling winnings story was a little too crazy to believe. His shooting his way out of an abandoned building was unnecessary. It all was a little over the top, in an annoying way. For me at least.

Yeah I can see that for sure. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it but for whatever reason I watched both seasons. If you'd seen all the crazy stuff they get up to you'd definitely be more likely to believe his stories, though.

I started watching Weeds, but was bummed to see that one the first two seasons are on there, not the last three. Any reason why this may be the case?

Don't worry, Weeds get worse after those 2 seasons (or maybe it is after the 3rd, when they move from Agrestic) , but would certainly be worth a rental or something.

I've just watched the first couple of episodes of "Leverage". Highly recommended for any fans of caper movies (Oceans 11), con movies or the British show, "Hustle" where this show obviously takes its inspiration from.

Netflix has the first three seasons. Well worth a look.

Am I reading this right? Netflix already has season 1 of "Mr. Sunshine"?

Hmm, looks like you can watch the first episode. Still, impressive if they keep adding episodes a few weeks behind the broadcast.
