Well deserved, dawg! Looking to be a big weekend for the Saints...
I still can't believe Shannon Sharpe isn't in the HOF, the guy deserves to be there.

Good on Floyd Little for finally getting in, but Shannon Sharpe got hosed. How he wasn't a first ballot lock last year is lost on me. Held every record when he retired, 3 Superbowl rings. Ridiculous.

Yeah, I was pissed last year when Sharpe was snubbed...I'm furious this year. I don't understand how you can not vote for that guy in the group of finalists. Some folks obviously did not.
Very happy for Little and Lebeau. Both deserving.

Mr. Bowlen says Brandon Marshall is welcome in Denver.
This might get interesting.

I wouldn't worry about it. He will get in, there was just too many worthy candidates this year according to Peter King.

Saints fans will be partying for weeks...which is good because they have a massively daunting off-season ahead.
Heard on ESPN this AM that N.O. has 29 expiring contracts....holy crap!! Thats well over half the roster. And as is the case every time someone wins the whole shebang, players want more money than they are likely entitled too (Eli Manning example 1). At any rate...much work to do for the Saints front office.

Same for Cris Carter IMO...how he doesnt get elected year 1 is beyond me. 3rd most receptions in NFL history (1 grab behind Harrison in 2nd IIRC), 4th most TD receptions, 16 year career. Just goofy he didnt get selected.

The fun thing about the offseason is to watch Detroit shooting itself in the foot, and the antics of Al Davis and the Raiders. I don't care about the well run teams, I love watching the gong shows happening in the lower team cities.

He may be let go, but I have a feeling he'll restructure. Hopefully he realizes that he isn't going to be successful in a one back offense, he never has been. I'd love to keep him around because opposing teams have to gameplan for him, whether he gets 5 touches or 20.
I have complete faith in Saints GM Mickey Loomis, he finds ways to make it work.

Bengals signed Matt Jones, and worked out Pac Man Jones. I understand the logic of second chances, but a whole team full of them?

Talk of Bush going back with Carroll in SEA.
A flashy name, sure, but not sure if he's the everyday back they are going to turn to in the revamped offence and O-line.
And he's no better stats wise than Burleson with punt returning.

...and especially given the history of that team and off the field issues. Doesn't make sense. I mean, there aren't better options out there?
