Why does the OHL have a Home-Away-Home-Away, etc format? They had the traditional format for the first round but the 2nd and 3rd round they alternate venues. How long have they done this?

I would think the winner of that series is coming out of the OHL. I was watching the game today on Sportsnet, it was pretty good. London went up 4-2, Windson came back and tied it with I think 2 minutes left in the third. Overtime was good too.

Last minute goal for Vancouver it OT. Series tied at 1-1. All this OT's gonna catch up to Vancouver sooner or later.

^Hopefully right after they beat the Rockets in 7 games. The Hitmen can certainly beat the Rockets, but their chances are much better against Vancouver.
No guarantees about the OHL, though. Windsor isn't all that different from the Wheat Kings, albeit with more scoring - their goaltending is a real weakness.

Funny trend with the Hitmen in the first 3 rounds. All game 2's on sunday and they were all stinkers by the club, but manage to win all 3. Does it have to do with the afternoon start time? Who knows but it's interesting. So will the trend continue and they win the next 2 on the road?

Windsor took a 3-1 lead on London; all 4 games have gone to OT.

The Hitmen need to stop watching how the Flames play a 5 on 3. By far the second best team on the ice early.

Hitmen down 1-0 on a PP goal by Brandon.
Not much doing for the Hitmen yet...
Make that down 2-0...

The Hitmen had some great chances to score early on in this game but either didn't shoot or hit the side of the net. Jones just made a couple of big time saves.

Starting to turn the tide now. 2-1 after a Sonne breakaway goal.
Shots were 9-1 at one point, now 12-7.

Hitmen pick it up towards the end of the 1st, but lucky to be down by only 1.

Foucault has turned out to be an awesome pickup for Calgary this year. He's pretty much gone from playing in the AJHL to playing on a scoring line for the Hitmen.

Gotta wonder how that late goal by Sonne will impact Brandon's psyche. This is the second game in a row where the Wheat Kings came out flying, and I am sure the result in game two has to be weighing on them now.

By the sounds of things they still pretty much had a handle on the game though

Unbelievable stop by Hayes there. Too bad Sonne couldn't have gotten it up a bit higher...

Tie game, Foucault with just over 4 left in the second.
Brandon is going to be crapping themselves in the intermission.
