I don’t think so. It’s 5-1 if binnington wasn’t making the saves he did.

In my mind canada is getting outcoached. The US is shutting down the neutral zone.

McDavid has lots of time to turn it around but he's proving he can't really drive a team and be a player like McKinnon or cros in his prime

True he's made some saves. As any goalie would. Is that the standard we're setting now?

This is the period that McDavid needs to prove he is the best player out there

Goaltending hasn’t been great but this team shouldn’t have to rely on it to win. Shots on goal and offence have been weak to say the least.

He’s not the problem. The have zero O zone time because the US is dominating the neutral zone

May be their best player.

Hughes would’ve been for USA, #### happens, stop the excuses.

Thompson was Canada's Hellebuyck. Would've drastically changed the playing field.

Makar is a more impactful player than Hughes by far but agree no excuses in this one.

Call me absolutely crazy but I wonder what Huberdeau would look like on this team.

Feels like every McDavid pass attempt is a turnover.

It is crazy, but he probably looks better than Reinhart.

Guess Babcock was the key ingredient after all. (Kidding)

Canada’s best players are forcing plays tonight unfortunately. USA is doing a good job collapsing around the net

Put him with Bennett and Reinhart and see if he plays like he did in FLA?

Nah, I wanted Rob Thomas.
