Canada and Germany look evenly matched.
Take that as you will.

Once again, the McKenna line the only one playing with any sort of teamwork and puck control. Rest of the lines just have zero support and cohesion.

Cowan has a serious case of the Mangiapanes.

Is Easton Cowan actually this bad? He's an absolute mess out there.

Cowan really is a puck hog. Combine that with his size and the NHL is going to be a big challenge for him

Bringing in Rejkopf was fine, but they should kept his line mate Martone in, and stuck McKenna between them.

Get a kid line going.

Drafted by the leafs, from the GTA, plays junior in the GTA.
Guaranteed he's buying into his own hype from TSN, and is just trying to do it all himself.

I am not in the #### on everything Cameron does camp but having watched Pinelli for 3 years now it is amazing to me that he is not on the second PP unit. This team is loaded with first rounders who are not nearly as good as him but strangely they get a lot of ice time.

It's interesting to see a guy like Stancl look so effective offensively for Czech while Cristall who has 23 more points than him for Kelowna was left at home

This team likely looks a lot more threatening with Misa, Cristall, Yakemchuk, and Parekh on the team instead of Howe, Beaudoin, Mynio, and Akey.

Edit: Forgot about Sennecke who obviously should be on this roster too.

This is the least impressive team Canada at the world juniors in a long time imo

Toss off Beaudoin as well, he is a first round pick because he is big. He does not score either.

After almost 5 periods, plus an OT against Latvia and Germany they are up 3-2

Awesome display

I’d honestly sit Cowen for Martone and a lot him in between McKenna and Rehkopf like Enoch Root said.

I’ve had enough of him.

It’s a team sport but these kids haven’t figured it out with the exception of McKenna.

Cowan looks like garbage.

Lots of people will use the excuse of Bedard and Celebrini being eligible but not being there.

But it's what happens when you leave guys like Wood, Cristall, Sennecke, Misa, Parekh, and Yakemchuk at home.

Somebody posted the "snub" roster earlier in one of these threads and I think it might actually have better high end talent outside of McKenna who is clearly the most talented player on this team

Seems like this team Canada has no skill/talent. Hmm wonder what 5 guys could turn that around.
