Are we not embarrassed by this team anymore?

Also congrats to Germany. First medal is almost 70 years?!? If I heard that right, wow.

very cool to see Toffoli, Weegar doing great, Lucic finally donning a Canadian jersery and not looking out of place at all.

Great to see them having fun and winning. Hopefully it carries over to next year...

I like Lucic, and if he plays a role for the right price, I'd strongly consider bringing him back... I know others disagree, but I think he's a guy that is important for chemistry, even though he's not the player he used to be.

Weegar player of the game for Canada..thought I heard that might have jumped the gun

I get what you’re saying as he had a good tournament but I like Conroy’s approach about having kids take these kinds of spots. Go win a jersey and only if necessary fill these voids with vets. Refreshing to have a culture change.

I hear ya; I'm the first to say that Calgary should be playing young guys...I think that it's a question of numbers/salary

Conroy said it himself about not 'being in the room' so understanding who are the leaders? I think Conroy will try to empower the players and take their thoughts into consideration as well.

Lucic isn't a good player at 5.25... but maybe there's a role for him at 1.5? Any higher than that, you'd have to determine whether he adds enough to justify his role.

We'll see what happens.

We need Looch back here. Just for the playoffs alone. You see what Bennett and Gudas did to the Canes. Just bulldozed them and they had no pushback.

Just don't play him every god damn game!

Boston can have Lucic back. It's time for him and the Flames to part ways. Absolutely no ill will, but it's just time.

I believe this means Canada has now passed the USSR for most gold medals?

Just hope whoever is the coach utilizes Weegar because I think he is he #1 dman on this team.

He's got a good offensive game and can be on the #1 pp unit. Someone called him a lemon mid way through the year which is hilarious because they probably didn't see what he did.

Lol….And what do you know about him being able to be a head coach?

My worry is just lack of experience and based on last year we need a coach who can come in and get the group to buy in

Tanguay isn't leaving Detroit unless it's for a head job, more than likely his contract says so anyway.

He has 4 years of pro and 2 as an NHL assistant and the Flames need a cheap coach, would you rather Love who has only coached mostly kids in the AHL?
