Huberdeau ####ing sucks, it's honestly incredible how bad he's been.
Weegar has looked good defensively, but his 1 goal is also pathetic. Tied with Dennis Gilbert, 1 less than Connor Mackey.

How can a team of NHLers move the puck so slowly on the PP
I’m sure there is some recency bias but I can not recall any team setting up and moving the puck (and themselves) so slowly

Others said they've liked his game. So which is it?

Might be the worst contract in the NHL and it hasn’t even started yet.

Dude it’s obviously the negative culture, he needs orange slices and a pat on the back…

Product of a slow, perimeter based PP. You’re asking players to filter perfect shots through defenders who are completely set in place, closing out shooting lanes. The strategy/puck movement on this PP is laughable.

Hacking in Huberdeau for missing the net on the shot? Take a look at what he or anyone else sees on a PP, there is defenders in front of the shooting lanes. That one is shot wide of the defender hoping to go off the Flame player beside the net.

I think this group just has motivation issues.
When they skated and put effort in, we saw the result.
Impressive given that Sutter is known to be one of the best motivators in the game
I feel like this is an issue that could be mediated by putting the C on a player that shows up and leads on the ice consistently (cough Backlund)

This is what happens when you have too many canucks on your team

This is pretty much the lowest I’ve felt as a fan for a very long time.
A shrug when we lose. A shrug when we win.

I think the bad goaltending is extremely deflating, when combined with bad offensive puck-luck. The philly goalie has made substantially more high quality saves than Markstrom.
