Yes, baseball is a weird sport. We've all seen that with the Jays ('85 vs. Royals, '16 vs. Rangers)

Yankees still have a shot, but the Dodgers & Braves look cooked.

Braves are definitely cooked. Hope their fans enjoyed last year's reprieve from choking, normal service has resumed.

I mean the Yankees have more than a shot. The Series is tied and Cleveland blooped their way to their win.
Dodgers win today and they are the heavy favorite in game 5.
Yeah Braves down 2 runs are in some trouble for sure.
Even the Mariners have a decent chance to win their games in Seattle IMO.

Braves just look so lifeless, while Philly is just feeding off that crowd. Would be pretty surprised to see them come back, even only down 2.

?? A bunch of their guys have pitched one inning. Don’t think they’re done for the playoffs either way.

WTF, I was watching on Sportsnet now and it randomly switched to the Dodgers game and I can't get back to the Mariners game.

No but the team with the fresher pitching staff tends to have a bit of an advantage in a series. If the Astros pitch a gazillion innings in this game, the series prolongs to 4 or 5, then they slog out a 7 gamer in the next round... they could be in tough in the WS against a fresher team.

Tune in tomorrow. They’ll still be swinging and missing then too.

Games like this make me wonder: Do they re-open the taps? Cause everyone who was drunk at the cutoff (probably 7th or 8th) is basically sober now. Like at 13 are you just like "#### it?".
