I expect many faces to be caved in and countless cross-checks thrown with a the fury of a thousand suns.
I really want to see them trigger Kassian again or the wunder Twins with the likes of Zadorov, Lucic and Gudbranson there to handle any hissy fits of rage.
Was it Andersson that knocked McDavid on his ass? More of that too.
I hope we turn their media circus into the blonde ugly crying at the cat. I feel like imploding that team with a bit of rough stuff will be relatively easy. They think they are some team of destiny so any physical play on their guys will be looked at as attempted murder.
I hope Sutter gives the big guys marching orders to go and wreak havoc every meeting, and shows no mercy.

The signing is definitely a head scratcher. I guess all I’m hoping is that Sutter will put him to good use. This team has a lot of size now, who knows maybe we’ll wear teams down and demoralize them… or we’ll be slow and boring, guess we’ll wait and see.

I'm excited to see how this team comes together and can't wait for the first BOA.

Why else would they come? The city? The weather? 50/50 chance at making playoffs?
I dunno, good steaks, there's usually a pretty good vibe around the Flames and city in general. The Saddledome is still pretty awesome, close to Banff and Lake Louise.
I don't think Calgary is that bad for players although I can see why some of the top players would prefer other cities. How much time do players actually get to spend in a city during the season when they're on the road for half the games and the other half at home with practices and everything.
^ that's exactly what you want from a guy like Gudbranson. To step up and take a fight so your talented guys like Tkachuk don't have to.

You could likely call that a draw and edge to Kassian but only because he got EG’s jersey over him. EG was still throwing hard even with the jersey over his head.
They fought prior to this one and EG won convincingly.
If I’m Kassian, I grab Zadorov to fight every game just to get his quota done.
I think Zadorov will get a lot of invitations this year from opposition tough guys.
Looch - nope
Gudbranson - nope
Ritchie - nope
Tkachuk - yes but then I have to answer to the above
Zadorov - safest fight
