whoo....ump is being VERY generous to a guy that has poor control so far. That's two balls called for strike 3 so far. Is it simply because the pitcher is whining about the strike zone? Have a little conviction in your calls there, ump.

Maybe he realized it’s already 4-0 and it’s probably best to just move this game along so everyone can go home.

I think this is way beyond a Super Spreader event.

We’re for sure in mega spreader territory, maybe into Ultra spreader, with Maximum over-spreader a distinct possibility.

Yeah, he seems to have the skills and tools, but any good pitcher needs to maintain his composure and have mental toughness more than anything else to be successful. I hope Pete can work with him on that this year. The guy could be a front end starter if he figures that out.

Hopefully the jays can put up a few more runs here so they can keep Matz going for another inning or two. Although he's nearing 80 pitches.
