He can use some AHL time first.
Gawdin and Phillips proved themselves and were top line players in the AHL last year. Time for them to get a shot .

Just caught up, trying to juggle this and the NFC championship.
I thought Valimaki and Nesterov have had a few bad shifts. And the 4th line has really struggled. Pretty even game, still a good chance to pull this out.

If argue the Flames are lucky to only be down one. They have generated virtually zero quality scoring chances and given up multiple breakaways along with many giveaways in their own zone. Maelstrom is keeping them in it. Hopefully they come out storming in the third.
