JJ is one of my favourite athletes ever across any sport. Unreal player, unreal person. It’s tough to see him go, but I’ll be very happy for him to get a shot with a decent team. I was hoping we could at least get a draft pick for him, but there mustn’t be any interest due to his contract. He’s not quite the player he once was due to his injuries, but I’m certain he will go make a positive contribution wherever he goes.

How long till Easterby is pushing for Tebow as QB?
Whenever I chat with my buddy about football and the qb situation ob the various teams I always joke that someone needs to take another run at Tebow. Tebow was an interesting guy.
Has nothing to do with his QB skills lol. All about a QB knowing his Psalms more than his playbook. Which I guess means that even if the Texans can draft Zach Wilson he's persona non-grata

Last 12 months, Houston fans have seen Watt, Hopkins, Harden, Westbrook and Springer move on.
Probably 3 or 4 HOFers in that group.
It's one of those things where nearly everyone except the owner felt like O'Brien should have been fired a couple of seasons ago and they left him in place long enough to essentially blow a competitive roster up into shambles. The McNair's have only themselves to blame for the current plight of their organization.

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith informed the team that he and his family were robbed at gunpoint Tuesday after being followed from Los Angeles International airport.
Quote:
"We are aware of the situation involving Jimmy Smith," the Ravens said in a statement. "We have spoken with Jimmy and he and his family are safe.''
No other details were given by the team.
Spokesmen for the Los Angeles Police Department and the L.A. Sheriff's Department said they were unaware of the incident and did not have a police report. The LAX police did not immediately return a phone message from ESPN.
Tons of respect for JJ as a football player, but really came around when I saw his fundraising efforts for Houston, following the flooding.
Worth checking out this video - this guy would make any locker room better. My guess is back home to Green Bay, Pittsburgh or the Rams. Outside shots for KC and TB

Former NFL wide receiver Vincent Jackson was found dead Monday in a Florida hotel room, according to The Hillsborough County (Florida) Sheriff's Office.
The body of the 38-year-old Jackson was found at approximately 11:30 a.m. ET on Monday at the Homewood Suites in Brandon, Florida. Police said there were no apparent signs of trauma and the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.
According to hotel staff, Jackson, who is a South Tampa resident, checked into the hotel on Jan. 11 and had been staying in a room since that date.
Jackson's family reported him missing on Wednesday and a formal report was filed Thursday, but police located Jackson at the Homewood Suites on Friday. The missing persons case was canceled after Jackson's well-being was confirmed.
Good news in that the young girl that Andy Reid's son put in a coma is now awake.
I'm happy to hear she's doing better. But Britt Reid is old enough that he should be named as the person who's 100% responsible for this act. Don't think it's fair to try and paint Andy Reid as being the guy who's responsible for what his dumb ass 35 year old kid does.
