So can the Jets win a series without their #1 C? Shouldnt be able to, however if our top line can't get.going then it doesn't matter

To be fair, I barely noticed any of Wheeler, Laine, Connor, or Ehlers. It's not like the Jets top guys are playing that well yet either. It was guys like Copp and Lowry who were playing well. Our bottom 6 was pretty good too.
I think there's still a little rust on the top guys and they'll start to shine soon. For both teams.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Flames struggle to score more than 2 goals in any game in this series.

Winnipeg playing good as a five man unit. Play was pretty disjointed in the first until the flames started to roll. Just keep getting the puck to the net.

I'm feeling a different vibe than most. It's the middle of summer, it's hot and beautiful and amazingly there's Flames hockey. Maybe it's because I had long written off the idea of watching live hockey but I don't give a **** about poor starts, weakenesses etc.
I just find it hilarious and awesome that I'm watching the Flames in a meaningful hockey game in August and I'm loving it. I mean we either win the series or we have a huge chance at a potentially franchise changing player in the draft. Who cares, I'm happy, this is funny.

At least we don't have to hear them talk about Schieffle's injury for another 55 times during the intermission. He is hurt. It was a terrible accident. Mind you, there certainly wasn't much positive about the Flames, so I guess that is all they could talk about.
It sure would be nice to see something different in first periods from the Flames. What do they do for pre-game snacks? Take sleeping pills?
Oh here we go. Always good to have a Flames hater do analysis on a Flames broadcast. Bieksa hates Chucky. I hate Bieksa.
