Team is missing something at a intangible level.
Can’t see Treliving sitting too patient on this, and a guy like Dube is not the answer.
Think Justin Williams could be coaxed away from having Carolina as his fallback for when he comes back?

This is one of those games where you can see we have a handful of expendable assets who aren’t bringing anything to the team and should be used to try and get an impact player long term:
Frolik
Jankowski
Bennett
Brodie
Honourable mention: Stone

Yup, and Frolik can never be mad at Peters for demoting him if it ever happens again. Clearly Frolik has set the pattern that he plays much better after a temporary demotion. If the coach knows he has that as a tool for motivating a player, he's going to use it.
Basically, Frolik should constantly play on the edge because otherwise the coach won't hesitate to drop him down the lineup. No bitching to the agent this time.

That’s the difference between Tkachuk, Bennett and Jankowski.
Tkachuk gets benched...comes out full of positive energy, ready to make a positive difference.
No moping!

Glad we got a pp, but man, the nhl is becoming a weak sport.
Is that a penalty in the spring? I'm so confused

I'm fine with that being a penalty as long as they call it year round.

The problem has always been frolik.
How do you build a lineup around him and his cap hit?

McNabb is a dirty player. Hate him. Despite being a big guy who could hit hard cleanly he still likes to hit dirty. I recall his hit on Oshie in the playoffs two years agony
