We are Flames fans, we suffer and our franchise are perennial choking dogs. I don't know why I thought it would be different.

Monahan and Gaudreau haven't been great as a pair in a while. You just can't work around two guys that don't win puck battles or forecheck

Really? I find it's mostly the people who have never posted or just joined coming in here to tell those of us venting how we're not real fans or jumping off the bandwagon.

He plays big but 5’10” is still 5’10” sadly

Him and Dubé are going to be excellent pieces to support the next core whenever the Flames ever bottom out again

Tough to watch, for sure. I say perhaps go a little easier on Monahan. I think he's hurt...we'll find out after this series.

These guys can’t hold on to their confidence for more than 5 minutes. The instant something goes wrong they start flailing around.

#### being a Flames has to be worst curse on earth.. Only second to being an Oilers fan.. But damn, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy

Flames are 2-11 in last 13 playoff games.

Johnny has 0G-3A and is -6 in his last 8 playoff games.

This series would be over if not for Smith.

I would almost offer Smith a 1 year at league minimum. He has been stellar the last quarter of the season and the playoffs. We will need to save cap some where after we buyout Neal.

The hot potato they are playing with the puck, 100% nerves. This team is choking, except Smith and the “fourth line”.

I'm not looking at anything through rose-colored glasses here. It's been far below expectations.

And yet, I still fundamentally like this team and I think there are great things in their future. I'm not going to hand in my fan card because of this series.
Haha well I am sure your expectations have always been lower. The Panthers have been garbage forever.

This core is 2-11 now after the Canucks series. How much more playoff experience do they need.

Men against boys - Gaudreau and Monahan were both scared shirtless and anyone who still wants to quote regular season stats as the reason to keep playing them, give your head a shake. Neal was an embarrassment and don't get me started about Backlund the bonehead.

If we go down in 5 games, which seems highly likely, at least show some pride and fight for every puck.
Mangiapane Lindholm Bennett for the first line.

29 years of... "oh, if only for this break here, or this bounce there, or a goal here or some better luck there".

At some point, the sample size becomes to large to chalk it all up to bad luck. This organization has severely underdelivered and let down its fan base.

at least Calgary wasn't swept like TB or Pittsburgh...

that's all i got...

any win now, i am going to treat like gravy, since its unlikely they comeback barring and injury to Mckinnon or Grubauer ... hopefully, they'll show some fight in Game 5

At least we've got the Saints and Broncos. Seen the team's have a few playoff run, and won it all.
