Would be nice if the Flames could score on this PP.

PP is still a momentum killer and Flames are still bad for choking away leads.
Hoping this is just bad habits from Gulutzan taking a while to get sorted out because those are two things I actually can't tolerate any more of watching.
Goaltending looks like it's going to be a problem yet again.

The Flames just never play a full game against the Oilers. Usually one period is all they have for these games.

Hopefully this PP is less stationary and peripheral.

Love the way Hanifin controls the blue line on offense

Would be nice if Flames had a goalie who could stop a beach ball...

They just described Yamamoto's goal like he intentionally shot it against tkachuk's stick. Jeez.

The Flames score at least once on one of those PPs, it's sealed.

They are working on new stuff which is good to see, they just have to bear down!

Maybe don’t put Ryan on the pp...
Doesn’t look great so far this preseason

That was a pretty decent powerplay, kept them hemmed in their zone the whole time.
Wait, Edmonton had 5 guys on the ice....

I think Ryan's looked just fine for the role he'll play.
New coach and lots of new players, they're trying lots of PP options... can't get much worse than last year and now's the time to try things out.

This new staff doesn't like off-side one-timers either... kinda worrysome.

I think the PP looks pretty good actually. Don't remember the last time I saw this many full 2 minutes in the opposition zone. They're getting lots of looks. I'm not worried about it at all.

That's the difference...Oilers ride their first line in pre-season games while the Flames see what guys can do in different situations

I know it's 3-3, but I kinda like this game. Flames are energized, fast, driving to the net, controlling the puck - in other words, completely dominating.

PP just needs to shoot more. Positionally I like it, as we're in the right spots for rebounds.
Hopefully that confidence to shoot will come.

I haven't seen 77 or 93 in different situations all preseason. Peters seems to be convinced they're just 4th line grinders.
