Well of course. But from a strictly goals in vs goals out for a team that needs offense, it might not be a big upgrade

If Ferland can get 20 plus goals Lindholm probably gets you 30 as he is more skilled.

Ferland is so under rated sometimes.

In addition to being fast and having a great shot he gives his linemates room. They work sell as a unit. The first line is not what needa fixing on this team.

Not that it wouldnt be great to have Lindholm. He'd have to earn that spot though.

Ferland can be moved down, if the Flames were to get Lindholm it would be mean he plays on the top line assuming the Backlund line stays the same. If not than he can play 1st second or third.

He's never scored 20 and you are going to bank on him scoring 30?

So the player that scored 20 last year should be moved down so the guy that has never scored that many can take his spot? We're grasping at hope here now

The same Ferland that disappeared down the stretch? Im confident Lindholm could do just as good as ferland or better. Carolina is trash so I think a change of scenery will do wonders.

Play Frolik on the top line or anyone else not named Brouwer and see how many goals they would/could have gotten. I could have gotten 7 myself from those two.

You will fit fine in the post Hartley coaching regime here. Congrats.

Sounds like Lebrun is walking this back now. My guess is that this was Carolina's idea. If Hamilton goes it will be for a legit top six scorer, with actual results as opposed to promise.

BT only takes fliers on coaches.

Hey, if they forced the same amount of ice time on me as Brouwer, some would have bounced off my big head/nose/ass

Carolina was one point worse than the Flames last year. If you think they're trash and that coming to Calgary is the remedy I got news for you...
