Not exactly the same circumstances as well the worst year of average attendance for the Flames franchise in Calgary is 15,320 in 1999-00. For comparison sake the best year of attendance in Winnipeg Jets history in the old Winnipeg arena was 13,549. Even in MTS Place a sellout is less than the Flames average attendance in 1999. Attendance-wise few organizations in the NHL can match the Flames attendance figures over the last three decades.

if the jets can win tonight, it is hard to imagine them losing 3 games straight

8.5 hours until puck drop
Biggest game in Winnipeg NHL history tonight. As a matter of fact every game here on out becomes that. This is uncharted waters for Winnipeg NHL franchises. Let's do it!

Ugh. David Amber just called the zombie hordes in Winnipeg the "Sea of White."
Have some shame, Amber.

The White Out looks lame when the home team is wearing blue. The Penguins were smart having their fans start wearing yellow.
I would however like the NHL to allow the home team to pick their jersey colour. Then the Jets could wear white at home.

It's white. Is there anything more bland and boring than white?
... I mean other than Winnipeg.

It is a commendable reach. I applaud you for that.

How dare you impugn my effort. I committed a bevy of office hours to formulating that prediction, which no doubt cost my employer hundreds of dollars.

Help, save, whatever.
I want the Jets to lose partly out of bitterness.
And partly because I find Whiteout`s whole schtick of "Wow, geez, what a time to be alive. Can you believe it? This is so great. I never thought my team would be this good...Etc..." to be annoying.

Meh, there's two white outs in canada. There's the towel thing in Vancouver and WPG's. Didn't EDM go white out for their run in 06?
Good on them, everyone deserves to have their moment in cheering for their regional sportsing team. Enjoy it.
I know I greatly enjoyed the C of red in 04.

what a terrible even up. Josi flopping like a cat fish. Just embarrassing how Nashville has played and dove in this series.
