Group A: Benfica -2, Manchester United -1, Basel, CSKA Moscow
Group B: Bayern Munich - 2, Paris Saint-Germain - 1, Anderlecht, Celtic
Group C: Chelsea - 2, Atletico Madrid - 1, Roma, Quarabag
Group D: Juventus - 2, Barcelona - 1, Olympiakos, Sporting Lisbon
Group E: Spartak Moscow, Sevilla - 1, Liverpool - 2, Maribor
Group F: Shakhtar Donetsk, Manchester City -2 , Napoli - 1, Feyenoord
Group G: Monaco - 1, Porto, Besiktas, RB Leipzig - 2
Group H: Real Madrid - 1, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham - 2, Apoel
Personally think it will be a big year for the English Teams in Europe with 5 of them getting out of the group stages, and Tottenham being the biggest surprise in their group. Dortmund will likely be without Dembele after his transfer, Reus will miss most of the group stages injured, and Gotze still isn't a sure thing after having metabolism issues to end last year.
Look back at my picks and some good but a lot of it was bad.
Group A: 1/2 Benfica didn't win a game.
Group B: 2/2 Went exactly as anticipated.
Group C: 1/2 Pleasantly surprised with Roma in Group C, but didn't see the disappointing outcome for Athletico.
Group D: 2/2 Went as planned.
Group E: 2/2 Order wrong but the right teams went through
Group F: 1/2 Napoli is the biggest dissapointment of this round for me, they should have put up a better fight.
Group G: 0/2 Both Monaco & RB Leipzig have to be dissapointed.
Group H: 2/2 Predicted Tottenham would be a surprise in the group, but still didn't think they would win it.
Went 11 for 16 overall which is alright but not great. Nailed the prediction of it being a big year for the EPL though and correctly predicted that 5 EPL teams would make it through.

With my luck we'll draw Bayern.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
I think that is pretty poor reward for topping the group, but basically everyone is hoping for Basel or Shaktar. Bayern or Madrid are probably the worst but then again ending up with Juventus or Sevilla is no picnic either!

It happens every year. One group has a strong second-place finisher and a group winner gets a tough match.

Well yeah, and it is the KO stage, so it shouldn't be easy. But what a reward for topping your group...the defending champions or a team that is just starting to roll in Bayern. Hopefully Manchester sees those two!

Liverpool topped their group because it was a sweetheart draw and a crap group. If I were a Sevilla fan I'd have been furious that they didnt win it when Liverpool gave them every opportunity.

Canadian GK Milan Borjan's club, Red Star Belgrade, have advanced to the round of 32 in the Europa League. He only gave up 2 goals in 6 games in the group stage, including shutting out Arsenal at the Emirates.

my hopes for draw from an entertainment perspective are
City/Madrid
Liverpool/Juve
first one are the two most talented teams in the world, think they would produce great games, want to see CR7 maybe his last chance against a Pep squad at these heights
Liverpool/Juve is just a crazy match of styles
Can the team with, and I'm using the next word the Jamie Redknapp way, literally no defense but an incredible front four, break down the Juve backline, which maybe isn't what it was but is still very strong. Dybala a potential breakout too
From a Spurs perspective, I think Bayern is the most ideal draw, like I said at the group stage when I was excited about Madrid and Dortmund, Champions League is about the glorious European nights, and of our options I think Bayern bring that, plus a great style Match up. Juve bring the bright lights but I think that match up would produce a more defensive style

I dont think even the most ardent Liverpool fan would argue with that assessment. Our defence/goaltending is the stuff of legends. Not good legends mind you, but there you have it.

That's my favorite club. Not only that, but Borjan has given up only 6 goals in 19 league matches. He's a really good goalkeeper, calm and poised. But he loves to waste time, lol.
